I have always liked box flares, it seems that they lived and died in the 80s. Today people care too much about flame surfacing (thanks Chris Bangle) and having low drag with real aerodynamics, but man do they just look better.
So, if you had to choose cars that came with box flares as production cars not some mod that is exaggerated what would it be. I personally like the more subtle ones like the Quattro above.

As much as I love the E30 and the Lancia (and all that other Italian hotness), I honestly think the Mitsubishi Starion did it perfectly -

I love seeing box flares where you don't expect them. They worked very well on the Tracker/Vitara, and if you look closely you'll see some super subtle ones on the Windstar and Econoline vans.
